Vec is live from Rhode Island. A Heavy chest puls swell is looking good!

Another intense summer storm generating severe storms, tornados, flooding, and wind to 55+ mph is leaving some bad-ass waves for the extreme athletes of New England to surf ride tomorrow. High Surf Advisory In Effect!

Shawn is in an optimistic mood today. He's riding a shortboard in Rhode Island. He says we get a long period swell this week. I concur, there will be a front stalled south of us with waves of low pressure until further notice. Maybe even elements with tropical cyclone DNA.

You go in the water ~ shark in the water. We are pretty used to it. A shark (what species?) corpse washed in on the backside of last nights storm. The storm also left a swell worthy of shortboard surf riding.

We are all watching The Atlantic Ocean for some midsummer action. It's almost time for some named storms to pop. Patience is required for now. Warm water and low humidity today. We may get wet tomorrow, and we're not talking about by going in the water. A wave of low pressure on our old stalled smoke front may brings showers and storms tomorrow, hopefully leaving a little swell in its wake Sunday and Monday. Vec is wrapping is head just in case ~ huh?

Vec & Friends enjoyed a sunrise surf session in Rhode Island today. Small surf and beautiful weather in New England this weekend.

Shawn can not hear in his right ear. He is waterlogged from surfing so much the last couple days. Get it now, it's fading fast. But the weekend weather looks great. Sunny and low humidity for all!

Shawn has shin high in Rhode Island, Bur from Cape Cod and points north where wind was from the east 20-40 mph yesterday, it's head high and slowly cleaning up. Here is a shot from Cinnamon Rainbows webcam at Hampton Beach New Hampshire this morning. Five to Six foot swell around 8 second period. Wind is sustained from the east 20-30 moh around Cape Cod this morning. It's a close in wind swell that should clean up for a while late today and tomorrow, as wind relaxes and the sun comes back.

Flat water ~ maybe gets better in a couple days.

The parking lot is full at 7AM Newport Rhode Island. It looks nice! There's even a little groundswell. Vec is not feeling the stoke.

It's Friday ~ But Friday July 2nd feels like a Saturday. A Gorgeous Beach Day In New England. As of 10AM all the lots are full in Dennis.

Hey Shawn ~ How are the bugs today? That waterfall looks great ~ perfect for keeping cool. Meanwhile in Rhode Island, wind is ramping up. That will keep beach goers cooler too. Gusting 25-30 this afternoon means big rough waves. East facing shores are Hot and much smaller waves. Water temperatures are in the mid 60s. Trunks weather through the weekend.

There is small groundswell today, a strong wind swell builds ~ along with the heat ~ tomorrow.

Glorious Monday at the beach in the New England. No sign of fog, water is warming up, air is not too hot ~ yet. Small long period swell, good day for teaching and learning how to surf.

Not much swell but at least the sun is out RI to Cape Cod beaches. We had our doubts on that the last few days. But dense for at Hampton Beach, the sun 'should' burn through though ~ fingers crossed. Not much wind ~ nice beach day for most.
